Mishawaka-Helen L. Newling-Gill, 74, of 2024 Lincoln Way W. died at 1 a.m. Tuesday in Michiana Community Hospital, South Bend. Mrs. Newling-Gill retired in 1970 as a waitress after 30 years of service. She was born Oct 24, 1920, in Mishawaka and was a lifelong area resident. She is survived by three daughters, Juanita Amor, Connie Bixler and Barbara Kaler, all of Mishawaka, a son Charles R. Gill of Mishawaka; seven grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

 Service will be at 1 p.m. Friday in Bubb Funeral Chapel Downtown, 202 N. Main St. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home.
