MISHAWAKA - Marvin M. ''Bud'' Gill, 79, of Lincoln Way East, died at 5:13 p.m. Monday in St. Joseph's Medical Center, South Bend, after an illness. Mr. Gill retired in 1978 from Luther Beverages, South Bend, as a truck driver. He was born July 13, 1916, in South Bend.

On March 6, 1942, in Los Angeles, he married Dorethey C. Kronewitter. She survives with two sons, James F. of Mishawaka and Jerry L. of South Bend; four grandchildren; and a brother, Buster Bolin of Montana. He was a former leader for Queen of Peace Boy Scout Troop 124, Mishawaka, and a former member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 360.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in Chapel Hill Funeral Home, Osceola. Burial will be in Chapel Hill Cemetery, Osceola. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Kidney Association.
