Elizabeth C. Gleissner

May 18, 1882 – June 1, 1943

Mrs. Elizabeth C. Gleissner, aged 61, died in her home, 213 Indiana Avenue, at 10 o’clock Tuesday night after an illness of three years.

 

She was born in Milwaukee, Wis., May 18, 1882, and came from that city to Mishawaka 35 years ago. She was married to George Gleissner who died 10 months ago.

 

Mrs. Gleissner is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Lucille Lindahl, of South Bend, and Miss Elizabeth Gleissner, at home; five sons. George Gleissner of Plymouth, Ind.; Fred Gleissner, of South Bend; John and Thomas Gleissner, of Mishawaka, and LT. Eugene Gleissner, of the US Army, stationed in North Africa, and five grandchildren.

 

Mrs. Gleissner was a member of the Rosary Society of St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church.

 

Friends will be received in the home until the time of the funeral services which will be held at 9 o’clock Saturday morning in St. Joseph Church, with the pastor, George Lauer, officiating.

 

Burial will be in St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park.
