Sister M. Albertus CSC, 88, died
Saturday afternoon in Saint Mary’s Convent where she had
resided since 1966. She was born Anatasia Glinhinski on
Aug 19, 1882 in Heidemul, Germany. She entered the Congregation
of the Holy Cross on Oct. 25, 1911; received the habit on Aug. 2,
1912; and made her profession of vows on Aug. 15, 1914. She was
assigned sacristan to St. Mary’s Academy and St. Mary’s
of the Wasatch, both in Salt Lake City, Utah; St. Teresa’a
Academy and St. Alphonsus Hospital, both in Boise, Idaho.
Services will be at 7 a.m. Monday in the
Church of Our Lady of Loretto at St. Mary’s, with burial in
Our Lady of Peace Cemetery, also on the campus. A rosary will be
recited this evening in the convent.
