Stanley
M. Gliszczynski, 55, of 1829 N. Brookfield, died at 8pm Friday in
his home after an apparent heart attack.
He
was born on September 16, 1925, in Poland, and had lived in South
Bend since 1949. On August 6, 1960, in South Bend, he
married Lorraine Switalski, who survives. Also surviving is
a son, Jim, at home.
Services
will be at 10am Monday in Corpus Christi Catholic Church with
Rev. Denis Blank, pastor, officiating. Burial will be at
Highland Cemetery.
Friends may call from 7 to 9pm today and 2 to4 and 7 to 9pm Sunday in Kaniewski & Sons Funeral Home, where the parish rosary will be recited at 8pm Sunday. He was employed for the past four years as a grinder at Sibley Foundry and was a former employee of Drewry’s Ltd.
