Daniel Andrew Glod, 79, of Abshire Drive, South Bend, Ind., died Friday, Nov. 9, in Hospice House.

He was born on Jan. 12th, 1922, in South Bend, to Joseph and Josephine (Pater) Glod, who both preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Ernest and Eugene Glod.

He is survived by a sister-in-law, Virginia Glod of South Bend; and by several nieces and nephews, Patricia Indelicato, Bill Indelicato, Doug Indelicato, all of Redding, Conn., Marie Goldstone of South Bend, Nicole Butler of South Bend, Joshua Glod of South Bend and Jason Basker of South Bend; two great-grandnieces, Victoria Goldstone and Zoe Butler, both of South Bend; and by one great-grandnephew, Eli Walters, also of South Bend.

 

Mr. Glod was employed by A.M. General as an inspector for 19 years, retiring in 1984. He was a member of St. Casimir Catholic Church.

 

Family and friends may call at the ST. JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME, 824 S. Mayflower, South Bend, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. today, Nov. 11, 2001. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, Nov. 12, in St. Casimir Catholic Church, 1308 W. Dunham St., South Bend, with burial to follow at St. Joseph Cemetery.
