Ms. John Glueckert

June 9, 1872 – February 2, 1958

Mrs. Eva Glueckert, 1237 College St., died at 7am Sunday in her residence.

She was born June 9, 1872, in Bavaria Germany.  She came to South Bend from Columbia City IN, in 1905.  Her husband, John, died in 1936

Survivors include four sons, Rev. Henry Glueckert, CSC, Notre Dame, Fred, Arlington Heights, IL, and George A & Charles J., both of South Bend; 21 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; and two sisters, Mrs. John Sommerer, South Bend; and Mrs. Frank Heubel, Chicago.

Friends may call in the Hickey Funeral Home today.  The rosary will be recited there at 7:30pm Tuesday.  Father Glueckert will conduct funeral services for his mother at 10am Wednesday in Holy Cross Catholic Church.  Entombment will be in Highland Mausoleum.
