Paul B. Godollei

SOUTH BEND - Services for Paul B. Godollei, 76, of Ribourde Drive, who died at 8:15 a.m. Friday in Holy Cross Care & Rehabilitation Center, will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Corpus Christi Catholic Church. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday in Kaniewski Funeral Home, 3545 N. Bendix Drive, South Bend, where church members will say a rosary at 3:30 p.m. and members of J.A. Nieuwland General Assembly of 4th Degree Knights of Columbus will say a rosary at 7 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Cancer Society.

 

Mr. Godollei was a self-employed construction specification writer. He was born July 26, 1919, in South Bend. On July 2, 1949, in Cincinnati, he married Lois A. Tenbieg. She died Nov. 15, 1988. Surviving are four daughters, Eileen Godollei Ponce of Tucson, Ariz., Rachel Godollei Johnson of Indianapolis, Julie McLane of Indianapolis and Ruthann Godollei of St. Paul, Minn.; a son, David P. of South Bend; three grandchildren; and a sister, Irene Dahlhaus of Sarasota, Fla.

 

He was an Army veteran of World War II, a University of Notre Dame graduate, and a member of the church, Michiana Gem & Mineral Society and Construction Specifications Institute.
