Mrs. Leo R. Goepfrich, Sr.

Mrs. Henrietta M. Goepfrich, 50, of 55503 Pine Rd., died at 7:30 p.m. Monday in St. Joseph's Hospital. She was born on Oct. 30, 1915, in South Bend. On Sept 1, 1934, as Henrietta Prentkowski, she was married to Leo R. Goepfrich Sr., who survives. Other survivors are her mother, Mrs. Hattie Stachowiak, South Bend; five sons, Leo R., jr., of Osceola, Thomas of South Bend and Richard, Frank and Mark, all at home; four daughters, Mrs. Natalee Cuti of Chicago Heights, Ill, Elaine Dixon of South Bend and Nancy and Coleen, both at home; six grandchildren; a brother, Ernest Pretkowski; two half-brothers, Alfred and Marion Stachowiak, both of South Bend; two sisters, Mrs. Theresa Grayzck and Mrs. Stella Biebuyck, both of South Bend; and two half -sisters, Mrs. Loretta Futa and Mrs. Jeanette Jasinski, both of North Liberty. Friends may call tonight at the Hickey Funeral Home. Mrs. Goepfrich was a member of the Altar-Rosary Society of Holy Family Catholic Church. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in Holy Family Church with the pastor, Rev. Joseph G. Lesniak, officiating. Burial will be in Chapel Hills Memorial Gardens. The rosary will be recited by the parish at 8 p.m. today in the funeral home and at 8 p.m. Wednesday by the Altar-Rosary Society.
