Cecelia A. Gollatz

Feb. 22, 1913 - Oct. 29, 1999

Cecelia Agnes Gollatz, 86, of Barcus Way, South Bend, Ind., passed away after an illness at 8:35 p.m. on Friday Oct. 29, in the Iron-wood Health & Rehabilitation Center, South Bend.

Mrs. Gollatz was born on Feb. 22, 1913, in South Bend, as the daughter of the late Frank and Mary (Geldner) Farrell. In 1946, in South Bend, as the former Cecelia Farrell, she married Kenneth W. Gollatz, who preceded her in death on Aug. 5, 1997. Mrs. Gollatz was also preceded in death by two sisters, Bernice Burzynski in 1978 and Ruth Farrell in 1959; and by four brothers, Richard Farrell in 1964, William Farrell in 1985, Charles Farrell in 1991 and Francis "Frank" Farrell in 1999.

Mrs. Gollatz is survived by a brother, Roy (Theresa) Farrell of Elkhart, Ind.; and by two sisters, Dorothy (George) Tekker of Osceola, Ind., and Elaine (Joe) De Neve of Mishawaka, Ind.

Mrs. Gollatz was employed by Indiana Bell "Ameritech" for many years before retiring. She was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ in Woodland, was a member of Telephone Pioneers of America, and of the Wakarusa Historical Society.

Friends may call from 1 to 3 p.m. today, Oct. 31, in the Hahn Funeral Home, 505 W. 8th Street, Mishawaka.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 1, in the funeral home, with Rev. Kenneth Seiffertt of St. John's United Church of Christ officiating. Burial will follow at Bremen Cemetery.
