Golubski, Sobierakski, AlthouseGenevieve Golubski: (South Bend Tribune 11/22/1994)June 9, 1904-Nov. 21, 1994 SOUTH BEND – Genevieve Golubski, 90, of Fairview Avenue, died at 5:55 p.m. Monday in Michiana Community Hospital. Mrs. Golubski retired from Slick’s Laundry. She was born June 9, 1904, in South Bend and was a lifelong area resident. On Nov. 27, 1933, in South Bend, as Genevieve Sobieralski, she married Sylvester Golubski. He died in 1977. She is survived by a daughter, Helen Althouse of South Bend; four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. She was a member of the Rosary Society and Retirees Club, both of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday in the church. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 9 p.m. Wednesday in St. Joseph Funeral Home, where a vigil will be at 3 p.m.
