Mrs. Michael Golubski: (South Bend Tribune

Mrs. Mary Golubski, 79, of 25171 State Rd. 2, died at 3:10
p.m. in her home after an illness of three years. She was born on
Dec. 16, 1883, in South Bend and was married on Nov. 25, 1902, in
St. Stanislaus Kostka Church of Terre Coupe, Ind., to Michael
Golubski, who survives. Also surviving are four sons, Frank,
Sylvester, Stanley and Leo, all of South Bend; four daughters,
Mrs. Theresa Thomas, Mrs. Anna Mason, Mrs. Frances Borowski and
Mrs. Martha Chapla, all of South Bend; 20 grandchildren and 14
great-grandchildren; four brothers, Sylvester Smorowski, William
Reed, John Pawlicki, and Michael Platt, all of South Bend, and
three sisters, Mrs. Joseph Leeper, Mrs. Verna Schultz and Mrs.
Frances Dornbrack, all of South Bend. Friends may call after 7
p.m. Saturday in the St. Joseph Funeral Chapel. Services will be
held at 9 a.m. Monday in Holy Family Catholic Church with Rev.
Joseph Lesniak, pastor, officiating. Interment will be in the St.
Joseph Cemetery. The rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Sunday in
the funeral home.
