Mary Ann (Morgan) Goodwin, 69, of Eugene Street, South Bend, Ind., passed away on Tuesday evening, Nov. 16, in the Saint Joseph's Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Goodwin was born on May 2, 1930, in Proctorville, Ohio, and had lived in the South Bend area for the past 50 years.

On July 25, 1949, in Ashland, Ky., she married Harry O. Goodwin, who passed away on Jan. 26, 1995. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Alice May Conner in 1997. She is survived by a daughter, Freida Humerickhouse of South Bend; a son, James A. Goodwin of South Bend; four grandchildren, Jeffrey J. Humerickhouse, Jamie A. Cora Goodwin, James Otis Goodwin and Timika King, all of South Bend; and by a sister, Sally J. Murphy of Rockport, Texas. She was a member of the Sacred Heart League and Boystown of America. Mrs. Goodwin was an Avon sales representative for 22 years for the South Bend area, and was also a rental property agent for herself.

Friends may call from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. today in the Welsheimer Funeral Home North, 17033 Cleveland Road. Services will be held at 1 p.m. today in the funeral home, with Rev. Mary Hubbard officiating. Burial will follow at Riverview Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association, to the American Heart Association or to the American Cancer Society.
