Mrs. Victoria Veronica Gooley, died after an extended illness at 12:30 PM
Thursday in the home of her daughter, Mrs. Cecilia Couch, 2281 North
Ironwood Drive, with whom she had made her home.  Born in November 12, 1870,
in Decatur Indiana, she had lived here practically all her life.  She was
married on January 7, 1890, to Jacob J. Gooley, who died in 1893.  Surviving
besides the daughter are seven grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and two
brothers, John and Otto Kintz, both of South Bend.  Friends may call in
McGann Funeral Home.  The funeral will be held at 10 AM Saturday and Christ
the King Catholic Church with burial in Cedar Grove Cemetery.  The rosary
will be recited by the Daughters of Isabella at 7:30 PM today in the funeral
home.
