NORTH LIBERTY - Mary Jane Gordon, 76, of 617 Cedar Street, died at 5 p.m. Thursday at Miller's Merry Manor, Walkerton, after an illness. She was born April 26, 1918, in South Bend and lived in this area most of her life.

On June 4, 1938, in Granger, she married Keith E. Gordon. He survives with a son, Robert Z. of Westerville, Ohio; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; a sister, Barbara Elkins of North Liberty; and two brothers, Ralph and Bill D., both of North Liberty. A son, Charles, died Jan. 29, 1991. She was a member of North Liberty Church of Christ.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at A.M. Manuel Funeral Home. Burial will be in Eastlawn Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and after 7 p.m. Sunday. Memorial contributions may be made to the church.

On June 4, 1938, in South Bend, as Mary Jane Zent, she married Keith E. Gordon, who survives. Also surviving are two brothers, Ralph Zent and Bill D. Zent, both of North Liberty.
