Stella Gorski

Stella A. Gorski, 94, of South Bend, IN died in the home of her daughter at 4:25 p.m. on November 30, 2006. She was born on June 15, 1912, to Stanley and Rose (Grzybek) Krupnik.

On November 10, 1934, in South Bend, IN she married Clement L. Gorski who preceded her in death on April 19, 1995 after 61 years of marriage. Also preceding her in death are her son, Gerald R. Gorski; brothers, Joseph and Casimir Krupnik; and sister, Mary Olszewski. Stella is survived by her daughter, Virginia (Eugene) Zielinski; her sister, Loretta (Walter) Kasznia; daughter-in-law, Irene Vanderbosch; five grandchildren, Brian (Debbie) Gorski, Elizabeth Gorski, Keith (Sandra) Zielinski and Lawrence (Rose) Zielinski, all of South Bend, and Kenneth (Anjanette) Zielinski of LaPorte, IN; and 13 great-grandchildren.

Stella was a long-time member of Holy Family Catholic Church. She devoted her life to her family and her beloved husband, Clem. Her memory will be cherished by all who knew her. Grandma always had time and love for everyone.

Friends may call at St Joseph Funeral Home, 824 S. Mayflower Road, South Bend, IN on Sunday December 3, 2006 from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Family Rosary will be prayed at 4:30 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Holy Family Catholic Church on Monday, December 4, 2006, at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery.
