Charles Roy Goss

Charles Roy Goss, 66, of 216 S. Union St., died at 3:30 a.m. today in his home. He had been in ill health for the last several years. Mr. Goss had lived in Mishawaka most of his lifetime, coming from Granville Township, Pennsylvania, where he was born.

 

He married Margerete Ort in St. Paul's Episcopal Church here in 1914. She died in 1929.

Mr. Goss was employed by the Studebaker Corp. for 23 years, retiring in 1954. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Albert J. Meuninck, with whom he lived, and Mrs. John Zimmerman, of Harrisburg, Pa.; five grandchildren; one brother, Glenn Goss, of this city and one sister, Mrs. Margaret Roberts, of Mishawaka. Friends may call at the Bubb Funeral Chapel after noon Wednesday.

Funeral services for Charles Roy Goss, who died Tuesday morning, will take place at 10 a.m. Thursday in St. Paul's Episcopal Church. Rev. W. B. Dexter, pastor, will officiate and burial will be in City Cemetery. Friends may call at the Bubb Chapel.
