Sam H. Graber

Mr. Sam H. Graber, 55, of Renfrew Drive, South Bend, Ind., passed away of an apparent heart attack on Monday, March 6, in his residence. Mr. Graber was born on Jan. 14, 1945, in Marion County, Ind. He was a lifetime resident of the Michiana area.

 

He is survived by two sisters, Deane (Jerry) Degler of Lakeville, Ind., and Sandra (Thomas) Chappell of Greenwood, Ind. He is also survived by six nieces and a nephew. Mr. Graber was employed at the time of his death by Federal Mogul of South Bend.

 

Visitation hours will be from 10 a.m. until time of services at 11 a.m. on Thursday, March 9. Funeral services will take place at 11 a.m. in the Hanley & Sons "Southwest Chapel" Funeral Home, located at West Ireland Road/Indiana 23, South Bend. Rev. Charles Ternet of the Sumption Prairie United Methodist Church will officiate. Burial will follow at Southlawn Cemetery, South Bend. The family request that all memorial contributions be made to the Pet Refuge, Inc., 2300 W. 6th Street, Mishawaka, Ind. Mr. Graber was an avid lover of animals. The Hanley & Sons "Southwest Chapel" Funeral Home handled arrangements and services, and extend heartfelt sympathy to the family of Sam Graber.
