The tie in here is to the Muinch Family of Mishawaka. They are an early German family (came to Mishawaka in 1868).

Mary Graham

 

GRANGER, Ind. - Mary Elizabeth Graham, 83, Granger, died Thursday (Oct. 21, 2004).

The funeral mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in LaPorte with the Rev. Ian Williams officiating. Burial will be in Pine Lake Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday and from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Essling Funeral Home, LaPorte.

Mrs. Graham was born July 27, 1921, in Michigan City to Charles and Elizabeth (Ball) Hart, who preceded her in death. She married Edward J. Graham, who also preceded her in death.

Survivors include two sisters, Patricia Kohne, Indianapolis, and Margaret (William) Muinch, Osceola, Ind.; two brothers, George (Cecelia) Hart, Bloomington, Ind., and John Patrick Hart, New York City; and 19 nieces and nephews.

Two sisters, Catherine Hart and Louise Simonson, also preceded her in death.

Mrs. Graham worked at Arno Tape (Dr. Scholl Co.) in Michigan City. She received a Dunn & Bradstreet Credit MGMT Degree, retiring after many years as a sales manager.

A graduate of Marquette High School, Mrs. Graham served her residency at Walter Reed Hospital in Washington, D.C., during World War II as a surgical nurse in the Women's Army Corps.
