Gustave Gran
Organic heart trouble, with cold weather as a contributing cause was responsible for the death of Gustave Gran, 1152 East Calvert street, Saturday night. Gran died in the saloon of Walter Przybysz, 1536 Lincoln Way west, after he had been picked up on the street in an unconscious condition. Coronor T.J. Swantz examined the body Sunday. Alfred Gran a brother of the dead man and Axel Johnson, his brother-in-law, identified the body at H.T. Yerrick’s morgue.
Gran is survived by his brother, Alfred Gran, and the following sisters; Mrs. Axel Johnson and Mrs. Alfred Johnson, all of this city.
He was born in Sweden, Aug. 20, 1869, and was 47 years old. He had lived in this city since 1893, coming here from Sweden. He was a member of the Modern Woodmen of America.
The funeral will be held from the residence at 2 o’clock Tuesday afternoon. Rev. Gotfred Olson officiating. Burial will be in Riverview cemetery.
