MISHAWAKA – Leroy E. V. Graveel, aged 28, of 501 W. 6^th Street, died suddenly today at 1:15 a.m. in St. Joseph Hospital following a heart attack. Mr. Graveel was born in Mishawaka Dec. 5, 1916, and had always lived here. Although blind for several years because of an illness in childhood, he was a talented musician.

Surviving are his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Rene, and one sister, Caroline, at home. Friends may call at the DeVos Chapel until the funeral services at 9 a.m. Monday in St. Bavo’s Catholic Church. Rev. Otto J. Keller, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park. The rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. Sunday in the church. Mr. Graveel was a member of the Musicians Union.
