Lawrence E. Gray.       

Lawrence E. Gray, of 1721 McKinely Ave., died in St. Joseph Hospital, Mishawaka, at 7:30 p. m. Friday after an illness of several months.  Gray was born in Mishawaka Feb. 23, 1920.  He married Marcelle Martin in Mishawaka May 18, 1941.  He was a tool and die maker for the Triangle Tool and Die Co.  He is survived by his wife; a daughter, Susan; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Alton E. Gray, of Mishawaka; two brothers George A., of South Bend, and Thomas R., of Mishawaka, and four sisters, Mrs. John E. Nagle, New Castle, Ind., Mrs. Carl Daniels, Mrs. Edward Royce, and Mrs. Francis Huys, all of South Bend.  Gray was a member of the Mishawaka Council, Knights of Columbus, and of St. Joseph Catholic Church here.  He was a veteran of World War II.  Members of St. Parish will recite the rosary at 7 p.m. Sunday in the Hickey Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a. m. Monday by Rev. Thomas Peyton, C.S.C. in St. Joseph's Church.  Burial will be in St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park.

Funeral Notes   Gray - Pallbearers for the funeral of Lawrence E. Gray, 1721 McKinley Ave., to take place at 10 a. m. Monday in St. Joseph's Catholic Church, will be Remi Coureur, Clark Lee, Robert Hayes, William Klein, Charles Hunt and Clarence Becker.
