Sept. 19, 1928 - May 12, 2010MISHAWAKA - Jeanette Mary Grebe, 81 of Mishawaka went to be with the Lord Wednesday morning with her family at her side. Born September 19, 1928 in Mishawaka to the late Charles and Stella (Gishewski) Dias. Also preceding her was her brothers Chuck and Stanley Dias. On June 19, 1946 in Mishawaka she married Harold Grebe they shared 64 years together. She is also survived by daughters Kim Hammond (Cris) of Kalamazoo, MI, Vicki Yoder (Steve) of Granger, IN sons Harold R. Grebe II of Bremen, IN and Rick C. Grebe of Houston, TX. 14 grand children 14 great grand children. Jeanette lived for her family and she will be missed. She graduated from Mishawaka High school and later was a member of the Order of Eastern Star chapter #2 which she was a 50 year member. She was a volunteer for 20 years with the Hospice in Okeechobee, FL and the Faith Mission in FL. She was a member of the New Life Baptist Church 11593 McKinley Hwy, Osceola, IN where a memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday May 14th with Pastor David C. Stauffer officiating. The family will greet friends following the service in the church.
