SOUTH BEND - Kathryn Sue Greer, 44,
of 1001 Mayflower Road, died at 7:45 p.m. Monday in Memorial
Hospital after an illness. Mrs. Greer was employed by St.
Joseph's Adult Care Center. She was born July 24, 1950, in South
Bend, and was a lifelong area resident.
She is survived by a companion, Willard Haskin
of South Bend; a daughter, Jennifer Greer at home; a son, Jason
Greer at home; her mother, Florence Freitag of South Bend;
three sisters, Carol Whitteberry of New Carlisle, and Mary
Lou Jasinski and Donna Olszewski, both of South
Bend; two brothers, Joseph Freitag Jr. of Mishawaka and Thomas
Freitag of South Bend; and a maternal grandmother, Genevieve Van
Goeye of South Bend.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in Holy
Family Catholic Church. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery.
Friends may call from 2 to 9 p.m. Wednesday in St. Joseph Funeral
Home, where a parish rosary will be said at 7 p.m.
