MISHAWAKA - Ruth M. Grimaldo, 80, of Trenton Court, died at 2 p.m. Wednesday in St. Joseph's Medical Center, South Bend, after an illness. Mrs. Grimaldo was employed by St. Joseph's Medical Center in the radiology department.

She was born Oct. 29, 1913, in North Dakota, and lived in Mishawaka most of her life. In 1940, in South Bend, as Ruth McArdle, she married Ralph Grimaldo. He died in 1968. She is survived by a brother, Vernon McArdle of Fort Wayne.

She was a member of Osceola Community Players and a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.

Services will be at 10 a.m. today in the church. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery, South Bend.

Thallemer-Goethals Funeral Home handled arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society or St. Joseph's Medical Center.
