Richard Smith Grimes

Dr. R. S. Grimes, father of Fred C. Grimes, office manager of the Mishawaka Woolen Mfg. Co., an old-time resident of this city, passed away at his home in Lincoln, Neb., Monday evening at 7 o'clock. His son left here on Friday in time to see his father before he died.

Dr. Grimes was united in marriage to Miss Flora Eberhart, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Adolphus Eberhart, and a sister of Fred G. Eberhart, in Mishawaka, in 1872.

Dr. Grimes was a nephew of the former Dr. J. F. Grimes, the well-known pioneer physician, under whom he studied medicine.

Surviving are, the widow, the son, Fred C. Grimes, and one daughter, Mrs. Frank McLain, of Lincoln.

Fred G. Eberhart went to Lincoln to attend the funeral.
