GRANGER - Memorial services for Frank E. Grodey, 88, of Santa Monica Drive, who died at 3:45 p.m. Wednesday in Fountainview Nursing Home, Mishawaka, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in Welsheimer Funeral Home North, 17033 Cleveland Road, South Bend. Cremation has taken place. Burial will be in St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.

Mr. Grodey retired in 1970 from AlliedSignal. He was born Oct. 8, 1905, in South Bend and lived in Fort Myers, Fla., from 1971 to 1992, when he returned to South Bend.

On April 19, 1930, in South Bend, he married Irene E. Babcock. She died April 4, 1992. He is survived by a daughter, Maxine Lewis of South Bend; two sons, Robert of Parker, Colo., and Jerry of Granger; seven grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Helen Farmer of Niles.
