SOUTH BEND - Marie Etra Groshans, 58, of Meridian Nursing Center-Cardinal, died at 12:36 p.m. Friday in the center. Mrs. Groshans was born Nov. 12, 1935, in Osceola and lived in South Bend all her life.

On Jan. 7, 1954, in South Bend, she married Robert L. Groshans. He died in 1974. Surviving are three daughters, Constance Sue Roseboom of South Bend, Vicky Lee Westphal of Osceola and Violet Irene Groshans of South Bend; four grandchildren; and two sisters, Beatrice Mead of South Bend and Betty Brown of Osceola.

There are no services or visitation. Cremation will take place. Welsheimer Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to American Heart Association.
