SOUTH BEND - James Joseph Guendling, 67, of Hammond, Ind., formerly of South Bend, died Friday in Munster (Ind.) Med-Inn. Survivors include his wife, Kathleen T. (Lanigan); two sons, Dan and Mark; four sisters, Mary Coufal of Stevensville, Md., Joanna Guendling and Carol Dillon, both of South Bend, and Margie Stumpf; and a brother, Jack of South Bend.
Services will be at 10 a.m. today in St. Catherine of Siena Church, Hammond. The Virgil Huber Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
