MISHAWAKA – Francisco Guerra, 75, of 1016 S. Spring Street, died at 6 p.m. Friday after an illness of three months. Born in Santarcangelo, Forli, Italy, he had lived in this city for the last 45 years coming here from Italy.

 

He married Rosa Sorci in Italy, Dec. 16 1906. He was a retired employee of the Ball Band. Surviving are his widow, two sons, Anthony Guerra and Adam Guerra, both of Mishawaka; two daughters, Mrs. James Meixel of South Bend, and Mrs. Joesph Amarel of Mishawaka; one brother, Dowardo Guerra of Italy; two sisters, Mrs. Marie Bezzi of Italy, and Mrs. A. L. Lizarine of Brazil, South America; two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

 

Friends may call in the DeVos Chapel this evening and up till the services there at 10 a.m. Monday. A rosary will be recited there at 7:30 p.m. Sunday. Rev. Otto J. Keller, pastor of St. Bavo’s Catholic Church will officiate services and burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.
