Mrs. Julius Guidi

Mrs. Julius Guidi, 62 of 1431 E. 4th Street, died at 4:30 p.m. Wednesday in St. Joseph Hospital where she underwent surgery Tuesday. Mrs. Guidi with her husband, owned and operated the Guidi Greenhouse at their home address.

She was born in Alpigana, Piemonte, Italy and came to Mishawaka from Chicago in 1917. As Louise Belli, she married Mr. Guidi in this city on Oct. 25,1919. He survives.

Surviving also are one son, Robert Guidi of Mishawaka; three daughters, Mrs. Cecil Perry and Mrs. Dallas B. Acrey, both of South Bend and Miss Dorothy L. Guidi, at home; six grandchildren; and one brother Dino Belli of Alpignano, Italy

Mrs. Guidi was a member of St. Joseph Church and the Rosary Society of that church. She was also a member of the Marine Mothers Club and American Legionm Post 261 Auxiliary.

Pallbearers for Mrs. Julius Guidi, 62 of 1431 E. 4th Street, died at 4:30 p.m. Wednesday have been named. They are Cecil Perry, John, Raymond, Virgil and Joseph Nicolini; and Maurice VanBruaene. Friends may call in the Bubb Funeral Chapel and services will take place at 10:15 a.m. Saturday in St. Joseph’s Church. Very Rev. Curt A. Suelzer, pastor will officiate and burial will be in Fairview Cemetery. The rosary will be recited at 8:15 p.m. today in the Bubb Chapel.
