SOUTH BEND – Robert F. Guthrie, 67, of 619 E. Wenger Street, died at 5:40 a.m. today in Memorial Hospital after a lengthy illness. A former employee of Studebaker Corp., he was born Aug. 10, 1906 in Attica, Ind. He had lived in South Bend 48 years.

On March 15, 1958, in South Bend, he married Dorothy Braunsdorf Green, who died last September. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Patricia Guthrie of South Bend; two grandchildren; a brother, Fred of Detroit and a sister, Mrs. Hope Faith of Bermunda Springs, Fla.

Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday in the Orvis-Palmer Funeral Home, where services will be at 11 a.m. Monday. Rev. Donald Dunn, cannon of the Cathedral of St. James will officiate. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery.
