William E. Gyori, 76, of Granger, passed away at 2:50 p.m. Tuesday, October 31, 2006, in Milton Home, South Bend, surrounded by family

William was born on July 30, 1930, in South Bend, to the late Frank and Wilma (Toth) Gyori. He was preceded in death by his parents, and by his wife, Lavonne (Japport) Gyori, who passed on December 4, 1976

William is survived by his son, Steven Gyori of South Haven, MI; two daughters, Karen (Mark) Trotter of Elkhart and Michelle (James) Knight of Niles; three grandchildren, Adam, Andrew and Christopher. He is also survived by three sisters, Wilma Barnes of Mishawaka, Helen Weeks of Mishawaka and June Meert of South Bend; one brother, George Gyori of Florida; and one stepbrother, Duane Nagy of New Carlisle

There will be a memorial service held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, November 3, 2006, in Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 10776 McKinley Highway, Osceola. Entombment will take place at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola.

In lieu of flowers, the family request that memorial donations be made to the Milton Home, 206 East Marion Street, South Bend, IN, who the family would like to thank for their tender care of William
