MISHAWAKA - Willis R. Haas, 74, of
Hamilton Grove Retirement Community, New Carlisle, formerly of
Mishawaka, died at 9 p.m. Wednesday in the nursing home. Mr. Haas
retired in 1983 from Wheelabrator-Frye Corp. as a superintendent
after 41 years of service. He was born Feb. 11, 1921, in Bremen,
and lived in Mishawaka most of his life.
On Sept. 3, 1966, in Mishawaka, he married
Patricia Arehart. She survives with a son, Daniel of
Mishawaka; and two brothers, Harry of Elkhart and Dale of Las
Vegas. He was a veteran of World War II.
Graveside services and burial will be at 11
a.m. Monday in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola. There will
be no visitation. Hahn Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
