Sister Mary Liguorius Hagan CSC

Sister Mary Liguorius, CSC, died Monday morning at St. Mary’s Convent, Notre Dame. She was known to the world as Elizabeth Hagan and is survived by her sister and father, both residing in Canada. Sister Liguorius was born in Canada in 1873 and received the habit of the Holy Cross in 1901. She took her final vows in 1907. Most of the time was spent at the Holy Cross Hospital, Salt Lake City, Utah, as a trained nurse. She was also at St. Joseph Hospital, of this city, for a short time. During the past few years she has been an invalid.

 

Requiem mass was said this morning at St. Mary’s and burial was in the convent cemetery.
