Sister Mary Thecia CSC, 91, of the Holy Cross Convent at Notre Dame, died Monday in the convent. She was born in County Tipperary, Ireland in 1859 as Mary Halley. She took the holy habit in 1885and was professed in 1888 to the Holy Cross order. Her body was taken to the convent parlor.

Funeral services will be conducted there Wednesday morning, with burial in the community cemetery at St. Mary’s.
