Mrs. Ralph R. Halterman

October 23, 1887 – December 25, 1968

Mrs. Sylvia E. Halterman, 81, of 23037 Grove St., died at 6:25pm Wednesday in St Joseph’s Hospital after a 10 month illness.

She was born October 23, 1887, in South Bend.  On July 14, 1928, in Rochester, she was married to Ralph R. Halterman, who died in 1938.  She is survived by a son, William Forsythe, of South Bend; three daughters, Mr. Helen Ek, Mrs. Catherine Netherton and Mrs. June Engel, all of South Bend; 10 grandchildren; a  great grandchild, and a brother, Earl Cottrell of South Bend. 

Friends may call after 7pm today in the Welsheimer Funeral Home where service will be held at 2:30pm Saturday with Rev. William Cole, of the Ardmore Brethren Church officiating.  Burial will be in Highland Cemetery.
