NEW CARLISLE - Lucille G. Hansen, 88 of New Carlisle,
Indiana passed away Wednesday, June 4, 2008, at Hamilton
Communities. Lucille was born March 21, 1920, in Michigan City,
Indiana to Walter F. and Mayme (Layman) Sobecki.
She was a wonderful homemaker.
On November 22, 1939, Lucille married
Richard Hansen, who survives. Surviving with her husband of 68
years are her daughters, Patricia (Gene) Truhn of Logan,
Utah, Marsha (John) Mulroony of Washington, Indiana;
grandchildren, Jeff (Mitzi) Truhn of Logansport, Indiana, Chris
(Trisha) McRoberts of Rogers, Arkansas, Karen (Dennis) Tye
of Brea, California; step-grandchildren, Sean Mulroony of
Phoenix, Arizona, and Kevin Mulroony of Indianapolis, Indiana; a
sister, Evelyn Dreyer of Michigan City, Indiana; brothers,
Walter Sobecki of Meridian, Mississippi, Stanley Sobecki of Otis,
Indiana; and a sister-in-law, Lottie Sobecki of Michigan City,
Indiana. A brother, Robert J. Sobecki preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m.
Monday, June 9, 2008, at the Kaniewski Funeral Home, 201 S.
Filbert Street, New Carlisle, Indiana, where friends may call one
hour prior to services. Burial will follow in the New Carlisle
Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's
Services of Northern Indiana, Inc. 922 E Colfax Ave South Bend,
IN 46617.
