MISHAWAKA - Joe G. Harbin Jr., 67, of 1218 Dodge Ave., died at 8:54 a.m. Tuesday in St. Joseph Hospital. Mr. Harbin retired in 1971 from South Bend Freight as a truck driver. He was born May 9, 1928, in Waterloo, Ala.

On May 15, 1947, in Roseland, he married Winifred Aminell Key. She survives with one grandchild; three great-grandchildren; and his mother, Eula M. Harbin of Florence, Ala. A son, Danny J., died in 1969. He was an Army veteran and a member of Teamsters Union Local 364, South Bend.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday in Bubb Funeral Chapel North, 3910 N. Main St. Burial will be in St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park, Granger. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home.
