MISHAWAKA - Carolyn Schalliol Harkins, 53, of 701 Kensard Court, died at 2:20 p.m. Tuesday in St. Joseph Medical Center, South Bend, after an illness. Mrs. Harkins was born Aug. 8, 1941, in Plymouth.

On Nov. 16, 1991, in Mishawaka, as Carolyn Schalliol, she married Kenneth R. Harkins. He survives with a daughter, Connie O'Connor of North Liberty; three sons, Rick Bierly of Walkerton, Terry Keck of Fort Wayne and Kris Schalliol of Lakeville; two stepdaughters; two stepsons; 17 grandchildren; her mother, Hazel Ogle of Lakeville; and two sisters, Betty Delanghe of Lakeville and Joann Meadows of Hamlet.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday in Palmer Funeral Home, Lakeville. Burial will be in Westlawn Cemetery, North Liberty. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to any charity.
