Chesterine R. Harmacinski

Feb. 3, 1918 - Jan. 3, 2010 SOUTH BEND - Chesterine R. Harmacinski, 91, passed away at 4:30 a.m. on Sunday, January 3, 2010, in Hamilton Grove, New Carlisle, IN. Chesterine was born on February 3, 1918, in South Bend to the late John and Alexandria (Komasienski) Zurawski. On October 23, 1937, Chesterine married Casimer J. Harmacinski and he passed away in 1992. Also preceding her in death are sons, Jerry and Raymond Harmacinski. Chesterine is survived by her son, Daniel Harmacinski; daughter-in-law, Dolores Harmacinski; grandchildren, Brian (Jill) Harmacinski, Sandy Harmacinski, Gary (Lori) Harmacinski, Vicki Harmacinski Briggs, Jody Harmacinski, and Kimberly Harmacinski; and great-grandchildren, Chase, Reid, Lexi, and Quinn Harmacinski, Kaylee and Jack Briggs and Rylee Rapp. Chesterine worked in housekeeping at 1st Source Bank before she retired in 1983. She was a parishioner at Holy Cross Catholic Church. Visitation will be from 4 pm to 8 pm on Wednesday, January 6, 2010 in ST. JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME, 824 S. Mayflower Rd., where a Rosary will be prayed at 4:30 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 am on Thursday, January 7, 2010, in Holy Cross Catholic Church. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery. Memorial Contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association 922 E.
