MISHAWAKA - Henry "Hank" E. Harmon, 76, of Mishawaka, passed away Saturday evening, December 26, 2009. Hank was born September 12, 1933 in Louisville, KY, the son of the late Henry and Netha (Deputy) Harmon. Most of his years growing up were spent in Franklin, IN. Hank lived in the Indianapolis, IN area and Niles, MI before moving to Mishawaka in 1997. Hank served his country from 1952 - 1955 in the US Air Force during the Korean War. Over the years his employment was in Appliance Repair. He enjoyed fishing, going to yard sales and playing pool. Hank's surviving family includes two stepchildren, Tiny Jake Bewley and Roxanna (Tom) Rachels; several step grandchildren, step great grandchildren and step great-great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Alberta; a stepson, George William Bewley, Jr.; and Hank's special friend, Pauline Holloway. Following Hank's wishes, a private burial will take place in Southlawn Cemetery, South Bend. Arrangements are in the care of Thallemer, Goethals & Wells Funeral Home, 503 West Third Street, Mishawaka.
