Thelma N. Harneck

South Bend, Ind.

Thelma N. Harneck, 58, died Thursday, Oct 25, 1990 in Memorial Hospital.

She was born Oct. 2, 1932, in Port Huron, Mich.  She married Ivan Harneck April 1, 1950, in Port Huron.

Mrs. Harneck was a representative of the Lancome Co. and regional representative for the L.S. Ayres stores across Indiana.  She had also worked for the J.L. Hudson Co. in the Detroit area.

She is surrivied by her husband, Ivan of South Bend, Ind. ; a son, Larry Ivan Harneck of Rochester Hills; two grandchildren, Jason and Aaron Lee Harneck, also of Rochester Hills, two brothers, Ronald McLean of Port Huron and Daryl McLean of Blain; two sisters, Margaret Hamblim and Virginia Bowman both of Palmetto, Fla.; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a son, Brian, in 1960.

Services will be 1 p.m. Monday in the Arthur Smith Funeral Homes – North Chapel, Port Huron, Mich.  The Rev. Ronald Walker, pastor of North Hills Wesleyan Church, will officiate.  Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Fort Gratiot, Mich.

Visiting is 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or the Michigan Leukemia Society.
