ROSELAND - Eleanor L. Hartman, 82, of East Murray Street, died at 6 a.m. Saturday in her home. Mrs. Hartman retired from Bendix Corp. after 30 years of service. She was born July 4, 1913, in Gary.

On Jan. 23, 1966, in South Bend, as Eleanor Lehman, she married Frank P. Hartman. He died July 5, 1987. Surviving are two sisters, Frances Bueche of South Bend and Ruth Meldrum of Byron, Mich.; and a brother, Roy E. Lehman of Osceola.

She was an Army veteran of World War II.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday in Hickey Funeral Home, 17131 Cleveland Road. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 6 p.m. today in the funeral home.
