SOUTH BEND - Sister Maurita Hartney, CSC, (Mary Teresa), 71, of Saint Mary's Convent, Notre Dame, died Friday in the convent after an illness. Survivors include a brother, Michael of Carmel, N.Y.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday in Church of Loretto, where friends may call Sunday after 3 p.m., and where a wake service will start at 7 p.m. Kaniewksi Funeral Home is in charge of handling arrangements.
