Sister Mary Clementina CSC, of the Sisters of Holy Cross, died at 11:10 p.m. Monday in St. Joseph Hospital, South Bend, after a brief illness. She was born Mary Brigetta Hasenbheler in Basle, Switzerland in 1877. She entered the Congregation of the Sisters of the Holy Cross, from St. Mary’s parish in South Bend, in 1898 and received the habit the same year. She made her profession of final vows in 1903. During her community life she was stationed in various missions of the eastern and midwestern provinces. She had been retired at the motherhouse for several years. Among survivors is a nephew, Rev. Joseph Voorde CSC of East Pakistan.

 

The requiem high mass will be said at 6 a.m. Wednesday in Our Lady of Loretto Church, with burial following in Our Lady of Peace Cemetery. Friend may call in the convent parlor.
