MISHAWAKA - Jack Keith Hawley, 69, of Russell Street, died at 5:45 p.m. Tuesday in St. Joseph Community Hospital. Mr. Hawley retired in 1977 from the Mishawaka Police Department after 20 years of service. He was born Aug. 31, 1926, in Wabash, Ind., and lived in Mishawaka since 1950.

On March 18, 1950, in South Bend, he married Helen Bella. She survives with three stepdaughters, Carol Schmigle of Venice, Fla., and Joyce Colt and Lucille Dolgos, both of Mishawaka; five sisters, Kathryn Scheibel of Wabash, Audra Wilson of Lubbock, Texas, Mary Keith of Hartford City, Ind., Clara Bell Rich of Anderson, Ind., and Carolyn McKinzie of Buffalo Grove, Ill.; and a brother, Karl of Greensburg, Ind.

There will be no services or visitation. Cremation will take place. Hahn Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
