Margaret M. Hays, 83, of the 100 Center Hi-Rise, Mishawaka, Ind., formerly of Delaware Street, Mishawaka, passed away after an illness at 4:35 a.m. early Friday morning, Feb. 11, in St. Joseph Community Hospital, Mishawaka. Margaret was born on Sept. 4, 1916, in Otsego, Mich., as the daughter of the late George and Mabel Reichenbach. She is survived by a daughter, Claudia Moore of Mishawaka; a grandson, Russell "Russ" (Joanna) Moore, also of Mishawaka; and by two great-grandchildren, Allison Moore (10) and Kelsea Moore (5). Margaret was a registered nurse for the Visiting Nurse Association for 42 years and retired in 1980. She was a member of the American Nurses's Association and was also a member of the District Nurses Association.

As per Margaret's wishes, there will be no visitation. A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 20, in the Albright United Methodist Church, Mishawaka, with Rev. Ken Mahan officiating. The Hahn Funeral Home, 505 W. 8th Street, Mishawaka, is handling arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to the Albright United Methodist Church, 504 W.
