SOUTH BEND - Mary Ellen Hazinski, 58, formerly of
Inglewood Place, South Bend, IN, passed away at 6:40 a.m.
Saturday, November 17, 2007, in Regency Place of South Bend. Mary
Ellen was born on September 2, 1949, in South Bend, IN, to Elmer
and Betty (McKinnon) Hazinski. She retired as the
outpatient registration manager at Saint Joseph Regional Medical
Center-South Bend. Survivors include her sister, Tina (Jim) Sheldon
of Elkhart, IN; and her half sister, Linda Barnett of
Westville, IN.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 21, in St. Adalbert Church. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. today in the Kaniewski Funeral Home, 3545 N. Bendix Drive. Mary Ellen enjoyed crocheting and reading. She also collected butterflies.
