OSCEOLA - Dena Edith Healey, 83, of 65683 Lakeshore Drive, Vandalia, formerly of Osceola, died at 6 a.m. Monday in her home after an illness.

Mrs. Healey was born June 8, 1910, in St. Joseph County, and was a lifelong area resident. As Dena Kidd, she married Warble Edward Healey. He preceded her in death. She is survived by a daughter, Jean Rideout of Florida; four sons, John and Jerry, both of Elkhart, Jack of Charleston, S.C., and Jody of Vandalia; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in Warner Funeral Home. Burial will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home.
